Steven Ellison, also known as Flying Lotus, is an experimental musician and producer, who just happens to be the great nephew of John Coltrane. His music is innovative, intelligent, and full of hooks. He has had a number of tracks produced for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, and released four studio albums. The more music Ellison seems to make, the more the critics and fans seem to like it, proving that real talent only becomes stronger with hard work. He has worked with Erykah Badu, and remixed songs from bands like Radiohead, most notably the song "Reckoner" from the album In Rainbows. He utilizes computers, drum machines, samplers, synthesizers, vocoders, and so much more to create a music that is unique and inspired. Flying Lotus has been making great music since 2006, and is showing no signs of slowing down.
