Originally opened in 1948 as a movie theater, the ROXY re-opened in August 2001 as a multi-purpose venue.

Muskogee’s ROXY Theater is the only ROXY left in Oklahoma and one of the fewer than fifty surviving ROXY Theaters nationwide. It has become a destination for tourists, movie historians and photographers seeking an eclectic location.
