Keelan Donovan brings the Better Late Than Never. Texas run to Houston in support of his album Catching a Dream. Released last summer, this show marks the first intentional album release celebration, leading into a hometown Austin album release night. Honest songwriting, a full band, and a night built around songs that took their time to arrive.
With anthemic hooks, quiet confidence, and a wicked sense of humor, Keelan Donovan has built a career on making rooms feel smaller and moments feel bigger. Since hitting the road in 2014, the Maine-born, Nashville-based songwriter has played more than 1,000 shows worldwide, touring with and opening for Ben Rector, The All American Rejects, Matt Nathanson, and Tenille Townes. His live shows are known for emotional honesty, sharp storytelling, and a genuine connection with the audience. Donovan's music has appeared on Spotify playlists including New Music Friday and Weekly Buzz, as well as on ABC's Nashville and across major platforms including Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max sizzle reels, and Prime Video. His songs will also appear in an upcoming feature film starring Nate Bargatze. With Catching a Dream, Donovan leans into themes of perseverance, faith, ambition, fatherhood, and the weight of influence, writing songs that feel lived in rather than performed. The Better Late Than Never. run is less about starting over and more about finally taking a moment to celebrate the work. Also we have a local opener with Ashera. They are a must see new band on the rise. Food provided by Javi Good Times. Check out Splice Records for more events, such as the upcoming River Revival Festival in New Braunfels, TX on September 25-28.
