Alex Maas, the enigmatic frontman of The Black Angels, has embarked on a thrilling solo journey with his debut album, Luca. Known for his hypnotic vocals and captivating stage presence, Maas has long been a cornerstone of the Austin music scene. As a visionary co-founder of the Austin Psych Fest (now known as Levitation), he has played a pivotal role in nurturing a vibrant community of psychedelic music lovers.

In addition to his work with The Black Angels, Maas is also a member of the experimental electronic project Mien, where his innovative sound continues to evolve.
