In 2013 RBSB began with a handful of songs and a dream to play a show in our home town of San Marcos, TX. Since then we have created 3 full length albums and a live album, and toured across the United States as well as Mexico and Europe. Our journey has been powered completely by our DIY values. Every mile driven on the road, every show booked, every song written has happened with our own hard work and dedication to this life we love so much. We are a band who genuinely cares about each other and the people who come out to see us again and again. RBSB is not out here to be rockstars, we are here to make connections with new friends and family all across the world sharing our most vulnerable selves with people who feel something when they listen to our music. Our fans are not nameless faces in the crowd, they are people who we can't wait to hug when we see them again. They have shared meals and their homes with us, and more good times than can be counted.

Our music is a whole blend of different sounds, but each one is a moment where we bare ourselves to the world. Each song our members sing is a moment of absolute authenticity in what it means to be a person experiencing the world. We write about love, regret, insecurity, fear, shame, joy, play, and the terrifying magnificence of being alive. We are proud of the raw honesty we get to share with others, and beyond honored that our words have the ability to reach so many people experiencing the same issues in their lives.

Rock Bottom String Band doesn't ever stop dreaming, and we've made every dream so far come true with hard work and belief in what we are doing. We can't wait to keep doing what we love for as long as we can and making more wonderful memories along the way. Til we die, we'll be celebrating every moment that we get.
