The Droptines Bio:

The Droptines are an alternative country band born in Concan, Texas. Established in 2019 by frontman and songwriter Conner Arthur, the band has earned its following the hard way- through relentless touring, uncompromising songwriting, and a dedication to take the
traditional route.

Blending country, Americana, rock and roll, and Texas roots music, The Droptines tether every song together with a vernacular native to the Texas Hill Country. The result is a broad range of
authentic, versatile melodies driven by Arthur's rich voice and distinctive lyricism. From biblical themes and blue-collar truths to questions of mortality, resilience, and existence, the songs are
equal parts grit and poetry. As Arthur describes it, the band's writing embraces "modern day trailer park Shakespearean terms," creating a style that is uniquely their own.

From fan favorites like "New Girl," "Bill of Sale," and "Raining Where You Are" to standout tracks from their critically acclaimed sophomore album Drought Flower, The Droptines deliver songs that hit as hard emotionally as they do sonically. Their live show is equal parts dancehall energy and rock-and-roll intensity, earning them a reputation as one of the most compelling acts emerging from Texas today.

"The Droptines have grinded their way out of Texas and into the mainstream."" Rolling Stone

"The Droptines are the best band in music… undeniably country, but the heavier guitar tones and gritty vocals from lead singer Conner Arthur give the band a harder edge."" Whiskey Riff

What is a Droptine, you might ask? The band is named for the rare downturned antlers prized by hunters"Droptines (rhymes with "stop signs").

The Droptines are:

• Conner Arthur " vocals, guitar
• Dillon Sampson " bass
• Johnny Sheets " drums
• Tony Rincon " pedal steel

The band has shared stages with artists including Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, Whiskey Myers, and Turnpike Troubadours. Following the release of their debut full-length album in 2024, the band signed with Big Loud Texas and released their sophomore album, Drought Flower, in
2026, further establishing themselves as one of the most exciting and distinctive voices in modern country music.
